About ds331

A lifelong vegetarian. A foodie. Can there be such a thing? Some restauranteurs don't seem to think so...but many of my veggie friends and family have a little something or two to teach them.

There are a few recipes for cabbage and beets on this week’s link party…as well as in the comments…http://inherchucks.com/2012/05/24/whats-in-the-box-27/come link up your goodies and I’m sure you will get some good ideas 🙂 Thanks for linking up your delicious recipes!

Here are some of my favorite beet recipes…Beet cake (http://inherchucks.com/2011/12/10/beet-cake-with-cream-cheese-frosting/), Chocolate Beet Muffins (http://inherchucks.com/2012/04/13/chocolate-beet-muffins/) and Beet Fritters (http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/beet-fritters-10000000257908/).

For the cabbage I like to make chinese chicken salad (http://inherchucks.com/2012/01/22/best-ever-chinese-chicken-salad/), soup (http://inherchucks.com/2012/03/02/hearty-italian-stew/) or fish tacos (http://inherchucks.com/2012/03/27/fish-tacos-with-lime-cilantro-crema/).

Hope you can find something that tickles your fancy!

Thoughts? Did you try this and have a suggestion? Did you like it?
